FEMA, Bill O'Reilly and floating casinos

I’ve let this blog run a touch dry on commentary for the past couple of days and unfortunately will be leaving it in similar shape today. Life at the Herald has been busy to say the least, and the news cycle has been a touch dry beyond Bush’s rebuke of Brown today (which was much overdue, I might add).

I’ll try to delve back into some commentary and analysis tomorrow. But for now, at risk of coming across as a touch more arrogant than I’d like, I thought I’d share one final piece coming from my Wednesday evening trip into the No Spin Zone. Doug Moe, a veritable Madison legend, included Casey Hoff and myself in his column today, and it makes for an interesting piece about how the school has dealt with this issue and how Bill O’Reilly has as well.

Finally, for the purpose of sharing some analytical thoughts today, I do have a column currently running in The Badger Herald. It is a re-statement of a post I made a little while back, addressing the hypocrisy of riverboat casinos and the dangers they present.
